We are deeply concerned about the mental health crisis facing youth today. Dr. Dawson spent years training child and adolescent psychiatrists. She is motivated to work with high school students who are struggling with mental health symptoms. Dr. Dawson has expertise in working with adolescent mood, anxiety, trauma and substance abuse problems as well as autism spectrum disorder. While we offer medication management services for youth ages 14 years and older, we believe that the most effective psychiatric care goes beyond prescribing medication. We integrate medical treatments with psychotherapy, reduction in unhealthy use of technology, improved nutrition, movement and sleep behaviors, healthy social connection and time spent in nature.
